EXCLUSIVE PRINT PARTNERS FOR SOUTH AUSTRALIA

Neomech are proud to be Markforged's exclusive print partner for South Australia. Markforged delivers industrial-grade additive manufacturing systems designed for producing strong, end-use parts directly on the factory floor. The FX20 is built for large-format, high-performance composite printing, enabling the production of sizeable tooling, fixtures, and functional components with continuous fibre reinforcement for exceptional strength and stiffness. Complementing it, the FX10 offers a more compact footprint while maintaining the same advanced composite printing capability, making it well suited for distributed manufacturing and high-mix production environments. Together, these systems support faster iteration, reduced reliance on traditional manufacturing, and the ability to produce durable, production-ready parts across aerospace, automotive, and industrial applications.

ABOUT THE MARKFORGED FX20

The FX20 is Markforged’s most advanced and largest printer ever. See some key features of the FX20 below:

DEFENCE AND AEROSPACE READY SYSTEMS

Markforged systems are already widely used in defence and aerospace environments for producing mission-critical tooling, fixtures, and end-use parts where strength, weight reduction, and supply-chain resilience are essential. Their composite process, combining a thermoplastic base material such as Onyx with continuous fibre reinforcement (notably carbon fibre), enables parts that can approach aluminium-like strength-to-weight performance while remaining corrosion-free and rapidly manufacturable on demand.  In defence applications, this is particularly valuable for replacing long-lead metal components, producing deployable spares in forward locations, and enabling distributed manufacturing models that reduce dependence on traditional supply chains.

THE RIGHT MATERIALS FOR THE JOB

Materials like Carbon Fibre FR and aerospace-qualified Onyx variants are also being developed and validated for highly regulated use cases, including defence programs where traceability, repeatability, and performance certification are critical. Machines such as the FX20 and FX10 extend this capability by supporting high-temperature thermoplastics and reinforced composites in controlled, production-grade environments, allowing defence organisations to fabricate durable, lightweight components at the point of need with improved agility and reduced logistics burden.
