ANDY OLIVER
Founder & Head of business relations
Andy began his engineering career in the UK, working on Le Mans prototypes and Formula One cars, specialising in structural analysis, optimisation, and lightweight composite and hybrid structures.
He moved into Defence with Lockheed Martin UK in 2014, becoming Chief Engineer and Head of Structural Analysis in the Special Projects Division. After collaborating on a Government programme in Adelaide in 2017, Andy relocated there permanently in 2019 and became an Australian Citizen in 2024.
Before founding Neomech in 2024, Andy held Business Development and Management roles across engineering and manufacturing businesses in South Australia.
NICK HEIM
Founder & Chief Imagineer
Nick began his engineering career in Adelaide, developing strong design expertise across a range of high-profile defence projects. This experience built his understanding of delivering innovative engineering solutions.
He later moved into Project Engineering, leading projects across the aviation, defence, and maritime sectors. In 2024, Nick co-founded Neomech alongside Andy, bringing their combined experience together to deliver technically excellent engineering outcomes.
