The Markforged FX20 stands out for its ability to embed continuous carbon fibre strands directly within printed parts, rather than relying on weaker chopped fibre blends. Using its proprietary Continuous Fibre Reinforcement process, the printer lays carbon fibre inside a thermoplastic matrix, allowing users to control exactly where fibres are placed and in which direction for maximum strength.
